Thread: Sheep in my loft..

    Default Sheep in my loft..

So in preperation for winter I figured my loft needs more insulation.

The house is 15 years old now and still has the original glass fibre insulation which is between 80mm-180mm deep, depending where you measure.

I bought some Natural Sheep Wool insulation today to layer over the top. 100mm thick, 600mm wide and 8 metres in length.

It was only £44.99 for 9.6 metres square which I thought was a bargain so got the last 4 bales they had in stock which will give me 38.4 metres square.

I actually need 56 metres square but that will be a good start. If anyone knows of somewhere cheap to get my remaining 17 metres square that would be useful

Anyone else got sheep in their loft? and is it good?

Christ You are going to be mighty warm mate... Very good investment though. You'll save hundreds in heating bills I bet.

All the houses over here come standard with a blow in type of insulation as it keeps the house cool in summer, and warm in winter. I'm sure all you want it for is warmth
