    Default Lowering an SRI?

Anyone know which kits to go for to lower a facelift SRI 1.9cdti 150? I know the SRI is factory lowered (cant remember how much by) and don't want to buy a set of springs & shocks that leave the car back where I started. Ideally I'm after an additional 30-35mm drop over the standard SRI springs.

IIRC, the SRi are 15mm lower than standard, so a 50mm-60mm kit will probably be what you need..

If your looking for a further drop of 30mm over the sri ride height then you want a -45mm drop

Looking at springs on ebay etc.. and Ive noticed a few places advising that 45mm lowering springs need shorter shocks too as the stock ones wont cope. Is this true or are they just trying to wangle more money out of me? If it is the case, how do the SRI shocks compare to this rule?
