getting fed up and concerned
about my signum revving its guts out from cold
( apparantly they all do it )
but this revs at about 1600 rpm 1700 rpm
is there a way that this could be turned down or fixed
this must be faulty somewhere

its to ensure the oil is fully pumped around the engine BEFORE you set off... should last 30-50 seconds before it drops down to around 1000 rpm and when fully warm 700-800 rpm
it IS perfectly normal
0-Large smile ......every time it's driven
As per the previous thread you started a couple of weeks ago, the answer will be the same Its perfectly normal on the 2.8T to do this...
Plasma's Tech2 services are now open and able to provide services
I like mine doing it with the exhaust modifications. It actually vibrates the whole house when starting it up in the garage lol
A quick cheeky blip on the throttle will have it popping and crackling as well.
Proper race style, its an occassion to be savoured
EDIT: However, if I'm in the VXR and intend on coming home late or early morning, putting it back in the garage is an issue for noise levels
