How do you check the year of your satnav disc from the CD70 menu?

I'd like to know how to check the year of my sat nav disc from the CD70 screen if there is a way. Is there any sort of button comination that will display this?

Y not just eject the disc and see... or am I missing something... or do you mean the firmware version that the navi unit's running, rather than the year of the disc????

Hold in the settings button until you hear a beep then press BC and i think thats how you get into the service menu, if its not that its something similar. Cycles through them with the big button like you would normal menus.

I tried the test mode but doesn't mention it. I don't mean the firmware mate no.

Press the NAV button rather than the BC button and there are NAV 'secret menu' info screens; the info you want may be in there.

There is also audio info if you do the same when pressing the 'AUDIO' button rather than the BC or NAV buttons.

As said, it'll be written on the disc itself - unless it's a copy of the original onto a CDR.

If it is a copy (we're not supposed to talk about them on here) but try putting it into your computer and see what date the raw data files are. Hopefully that doesn't break forum rules by mentioning?

This is down the road where our sat nav is supposed to stop us going so it is closed the answer has been given and we all know why it isn't any use so I'll close it
