    Default Wash solution

    Hi Guys,

There's been a thread on DW about scratches appearing on paint not long after it has been detailed .........this shouldn't happen

One possible reason is the wash solution being used.......a common mistake is to pour less solution in than you need.........you should use a good 3 to 4oz which is a really good swig

Me I always fill the bucket with water FIRST then add the wash solution and then dip the Karcher in for a few seconds to ensure it's properly mixed, this leaves me with a pure wash mixture i.e. very little bubbles, I find when you do it the other way round the second you put the wash mitt in the bucket the bubbles bale out along with some of the luricity..........so there you have it no bubbles = maximum lubricity

Just a thought I wouldn't want anybody to be inflicting swirls on their car simply due to an incorrect mix.
