Was looking forward to this on Monday night, but what do they show instead - a repeat of Police Interceptors from last year.

Channel 5 = a bunch of muppets.

might of been because of the topic in the original program were riot orientated ..just a guess .

A similar issue with last weeks Top Gear an old episode aired instead
When looking at the Channel 5 website, it shows the latest episode was number 8 on 01 August
If you then look at Series 3 you will note a similar jump in episodes in August
If you think that is bad, look at Series 2, what school did Channel 5 go to?!?

Possibly.

I rewound the recording right back to the beggining and played it back and the announcer said there was a change to the advertised programme.

I normally skip though the rubbish aired prior to the programme starting which is why I originally missed the announcement.

Must have been a last minute decision because I briefly caught sight of an advertisement about the new series a couple of hours earlier.
