    Default key fob problem

Hi new to this so bare with me. Just baught this thing and already its starting to annoy me. I have a 04 plate vectra 2.0 sri turbo and all of a sudden my emission light has come on it was in limp mode which turned out to be the air intake sensor which I unplugged blew and replaced which has cured that problem now the light won't go so I presume this is to do with the cat but am not sure. Next problem is the switches on my door few buttens don't seem to do anything and finaly the key. The buttens don't work tried the batt and nothing so I presume this is dead. I do have a spare from my old vectra its the same type but how do I go about programming I have key pass. And to top it off normally there is a transponder chip wehich seems to be missing but car runs perfect please can someone help me !!! Thanks

Not sure if itbworks same on this but on older vauxhalls where put key in position 2 and hold lock/ unlock button after apron 30 secs all the doors should lock/ unlock to show key is syncd

As for light have you had codes cleared since you repaired it? Try disconnecting battery for half hour see if you have any joy

My passengerbswitch innmy vectra is a bit temperamental I thinknonly way is either stripnitndown check an clean contacts or renew

It's on the PCB, not separate as it was in earlier Vauxhall fobs.

Not unless you swap the guts from your old fob into the replacement fob, or have it re-programmed by Tech2.

ok so i have sorted out the passenger door switch and now its working. however the drivers door switch still baffles me. the passenger window switch works the drivers switch does not. the passenger mirror switch works and when you put it to drivers side the passenger mirror works backwards and again the drivers does not move. the key fob is now working after a little mod but when i lock the doors the drivers door does not lock on the central locking so i presume its a problem with the drivers door ?? considering nothing seems to be working yet the speaker works and some of the buttens on the door starting to get baffled now i know there is a control box on the door picked up a different one today which does nothing at all
