    Does the 2.0T have an idle control valve I can swear that I have read somewhere that they don't

    I believe it uses the same principle as the 2.2 in that there should be a tiny gap around the butterfly to control idle.

    Can anyone show me a pic where the throttle body is and where I can find this butterfly valve please

    the big rubber hose that goes up the front of your engine and then connects to the block just above the dipstick, that part it connects to is the throttle body and inside that is the butterfly valve..

    And this is the TB with the Butterfly, you can see the small gap so it doesn't make a perfect seal. On TB's with a ICV there would be no gap.

    I wouldn't call it bad lumpy tickover it wouldn't stall but not as smooth as I'd like I was thinking of cleaning it

    Sounds about right mate, I'd say a dirty TB is what your looking at.
