    Default Bonnet Release problem

Got a small problem i am sure someone can help me with

The bonnet release doesn't work on my car, first time i tried to open it today after buying the car (it worked when i test drove it !)

Now the cable is connected at the pull handle just inside the drivers door, but as you pull it you can hear it in the engine bay, but it does not operate the catch.

So i think it has either become disconnected at the mechanism under the bonnet or the cable has snapped.

Here is the question then, how the hell do i open the bonnet to have a look?

    Any help appreciated.
    Matt

you're probably going to have to go through the grill to get to the mech, then adjust the tension on the cable once you've got it open... as per the howto

To the right hand side of the "v" in the grille the bonnet catch lever runs there, not sure if you can operate it with a pair of pliers?

Someone a bit more knowledgeable will hopefully reply
