Default Twin Exhausts - What do I need

    Hi,

Looking for some help with parts that I would need to change my Signum 1.9 CDTI 150 fom the single hidden exhaust to the visible twin version, one outlet either side.

I ralise that I need the new trim for the bottom of the bumper. I think that the GSi is a single piece whereas others seem to come in 2 pieces with the centre part being available in differeny options ie VXR. I would prefer the standard grey as i dont want to have it painted.

I would then require the 'Y' branch and thereafter the 2 boxes.

The Vectra exhaust does'nt fit the Signum, I think however I stand to be corrected.

Is this correct in what I need and what exhaust sytems from Signums fit the 1.9.

Also if any one has one going I don't mind travelling to uplift.

Thanks for any advice you can offer, I know I can rely on you lot

Thanks for the quick reply Matt, his is the Facelift model so I don't know if this would make a difference or not ie floor pan and rear bumper.

Hopefully he will be watching and come along to offer some advice.

    Cheers

    Dazz,

the signum setup is different to the vectra.. the vectra uses 2 cans, the signum has one large silencer, split into two.. There is no 'Y' Piece on the signum, it just bolts on to the centre section and then the rear can splits afterwards

The signum needs the lower valence changing for the sports one..avaliable from VX.. Standard vectra one's like the GSi you mention don't fit..and there is no VXR version for the signum as far as i beleive.

Andyvec has just done this conversion on his signum, the picture of his rear silencer is in his thread

No difference mate, all that has changed i beleive is the profile of the lower valence, the floor and upper bumper are the same

    pmsl i`m here watchin

yeah i was just reading through,i had the single left exit and now i have the
twin exit as piccy now fitted, its a straight swap over and you dont need
a y piece,it fits straight onto the centre joint without a problem and they
are all the same diameter aswell so either a petrol or a diesel will fit no
probs, you will also ned the twin exit rear skirt,if yours is a pre facelift then it
comes in 1 piece and if its a facelift then all you need is to get the twin exit
centre black trim,if you want i can supply these parts but they are not
cheap or go for the single left exit which i did have and i`ll sell ya the tailbox
and get the left trim skirt for you, have a think about it and if i can be of
anymore help then ya welcome to pm me.
