Just driving home and EML came on no loss of power so thought I'd pull over and check under bonnet and see if restarting it turned light off.
So when I lifted bonnet I found power steering fluid still leaking around reservoir they were meant to of done this Monday when I went in with spanner incident.

So tried starting car again but light is still on but no loss of power rang dealer and they told me to pop in and they would check it out straight away.So sat here now thinking shall I cancel my service plan with them or not

You've been quite unfortunate with this car. Has all the hallmarks of being a "Friday afternoon-mobile" - a similar fate which my aunt had with her new Astra which she ended up rejecting and got a refund for.

You should do the same or at the very least get the dealer to source you another Insignia.

Well pipe clip wasn't done up tight enough and EGR valve is knackered

You expect these problems tbh , Vectra c wasn't any better and im glad its still in warranty so all parts and labour covered.
Car is awesome tbh drives smooth except for clunk lifting on/off accelerator but its in for that when EGR is done and hopefully they will replace flywheel then it will of had a vast majority of the problem parts replaced

Make sure you get your brakes serviced before 20,000 miles vx have issued an advisory for the brake caliper slidders to be greased on every service ,
failing to do this has resulted in brake discs warping on some models and at £1800 a pop could be a tad expensive

Hmmm bob have you got advisory details or link Plus i need an engine guru to tell me about fly wheel i need to know if its possible for flywheel to be faulty and clunk when lifting on/off accelerator it seems to do it more when warm (well i feel it more) but when they looked at flywheel they said it was fine with very little movement, could this change when flywheel is hot ?

No mate there is/was an article about this in the latest EVO mag it took the writer of the article some serious investigative journalism to get vx to admit that they knew they had a problem with this . i will see if i can get the relevant paregraph scanned for you .
