    Default help my new xp splitters warped!

    its been a bad 3rd month with my vectra. its in on Monday for a new inlet manifold also needs a new starter motor and just had a new ac condenser. anyway i brought a replica xp kit they other month and ive not had it fitted yet but when i went and had a look at it today the front and rear splitter was badly warped. could i get a heat gun on it?

    if there plastic then yes u can gentley heat with a heat gun twist back in to shape. if its fibreglass then i dont think you can heat it up because if you try to move the spoiler it may crack and break.

    am having it painted next week and an hoping when its on it will stretch out. and yea it is made of carbon.

    grp m8 ( fibre glass ) if getting sprayed pro then mite be ok but must be on a low bake if to high there will lots of pin holes in spoiler as air comes out from grp with high temps ie oven bakeing
