    Question New bushes?

    Hi all. Please can I get some more advice? All my bushes on my vectra c dti sxi have started to go - has done lots of miles. Which make would everyone recommend please?

    There are a hell of a lot of bushes on the Vec's suspension, I doubt they've all "started to go", so can you be more specific? There's no one "make" that can be recommended - the choice is usually either genuine GM, branded non-OEM parts from somewhere like EuroCarParts or no-brand ebay ones. Which one is suitable depends on which bush you're referring to; for example for ARB bushes buy them from Vauxhall, whereas for rear upper control arms try ECP as Vauxhall ones are quite expensive.

    Lol ok I'm with you . The mot advisories say that it is all the anti roll bar bushes - I had missed that bit out sorry. Many thanks for the information.

    All the arb bushes, so that'll be about a tenner from vx for the lot, ok at a push maybe 15 quid

    Ah that's ok then , then I just need to find my oil leak and change the brake pipe front to back and all advisories done ! Happy now

    Brake pipes are easy to replace on the vec-c they are even sectioned form the factory near the front subframe, can easily replace the pipes going to both rear calipers without dropping the tank, just need to shape the pipe before you install it behind the tank.

    Do you know if it is the same for the estate?
    Received a warning at my last MOT about corrosion on the two long pipes which run under my car. (a 2004 elite estate). I was thinking I would have to drop the tank.
