Default Has It Killed The Battery As Well

Car decided to throw a wobbler yesterday...sat in the car waiting for the other half and all of a sudden the engine went upto 1100rpm...so as you do wondering whats going on....turned it off went to start and click..click dead as a fart.....
Called the AA out...told him whats what...advised alternators up the swanny....fine not a problem got the repair breakdown cover with them so he puts some charge into the battery and follows me to the garage i use...all well new alternator from vauxhall fitted today..but the battery now has a permanent black dot on the battery(still has the genuine vauxhall battery from new.4yrs old) ...whereas before through the eyeglass it was a bright green....ran it around quite alot today and still black so will that next give up on me?
Its showing 13.7v on the obc on the screen whereas yesterday it was showing 11v but would you say batterys a gonna or will it come back to life?

Try charging the battery overnight. Same happened to my missus' car. New alternator, and battery was dead. Charged it overnight and took it for a long hard run the following day. That was 2 months ago. Still fine now . Battery is 5 years old and covered 130k miles.
