Default I really want traction control.

i really want traction control in my cdti 150. ive got the button that lights up but nothing happens. ive look all over the net on how to retro fit it with no success. what would happen if it changed the abs module with one that has tc would that work.

If you changed to correct ABS unit , you would still need to add a wire from the TC button to the ABS unit , it either pin 3 or 4 on the ABS unit , someone else will confirm this.

    Default

you would need it to be coded to your car , but the ABS unit needs to be capable of switching TC on and off.

Unlikely unless it was a factory option as it was only standard fit on the big engine cars. Its a 56 plate, so its a facelift.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

i know the wiring looms are the same right and tc uses the abs sensors. so i dont see why fitting a new abs module wont make it work.
