I took my Vec C SRI into the above with a creaking seat and a few minor issues as still under warranty.
Service came back stating that needed a new seat frame, questioned them why and said couldn't explain why, wanted to charge me £200 ish for new seat without being able to offer a valid explanation as to how it was faulty! Later stated ws not under warranty as seat frame is classed as 'TRIM' and wanted £90 labour to strip seat to investigate. Was told they had lubed rails and creak gone.
Rear ashtray had popped out, gave them part and asked them to put back in and quouted me £45 for replacement, told them unbroken part was provided which they had subsequently broken.
Also stated needed new brake discs and pads on the rear at a cost of £180 fitted, on questioning further stated the pads all worn by 10% and that there was slight scoring on the discs that could be changed when pads are replaced next. Pads were replaced within last 4 months!
Picked car up later with ash tray broken and still not fitted, creaking seat now worse, later received text and voicemail from dealer asking if happy to which replied no and service manager contacted asking why not happy so otold why.. pointed out issues and agreed to replace ashtray which engineer had broken, strip seat and investigate properly this time.
Car still there so will see how we get on!
Beware if you take your car here as you may be quoted for things that dont need replacing! Back street garage it is not but acts like it!
