    Default front crash/reinforcement bar replacement?

I have bought myself another project to play with, its facelift vec C that has had a knock on the front. Its less than half price and will be a doddle to fix.

I happen to have almost all the parts lying around my place but have a question relating the front bumper reinforcement bar.

Are the bars and the mounts the same for Prefacelifts the same as the facelifts parts? There are loads of cheaply priced pre parts out there but I am unsure if they are the same..

    anybody?

Not sure about this Nige. But have a look on car parts connections as they all ways seem to have cheap bits like this hanging about.

i had looked there but thay have nothing that indicates whether there is a difference. Its easy to get hold of these parts from the bay or local scrappies from cars with rear or side impact damage. I have a feeling they are interchangeable but i am sure other members have replaced these and had a similar question.

However I believe the search function yielded the info i was looking for

Slight difference according to the how2 on preface to facelift conversion - presuming the impact limiter is another name for the crash bar.

"1 x Impact limiter and arms (Not 100% again, but my previous one caused the bumper to bulge slightly - So I ended up getting one from a facelift - didnt look any different, but bumper did fit better.)"

    Next question...

also need a replacement rad pack.. once again plenty of preface packs available but are these gonna be the same as a facelift. Seeing as its the same engine i am assuming they will be same but can anybody confirm this?

    Default

Front end crash limiter: P/N 9186119 for the prefacelift, 13206743 for the facelift.

There doesn't seem to be any difference between the part numbers for radiators between facelift and pre- models.
