    Default 314 mm setup

    well I have Sold my 1.9 vectra now is it worth sticking the std setup back on the car and keeping the 314mm setup ?
    do people still use them on cars or is every one still wanting the 345mm's for the cars

    on all of the cars I have had uprated brake kits
    I did this
    314mm
    345mm
    back to 314mm to use winter wheels dam snow in germany
    then I have sold the old girl to a friend in germany now
    I will bung the std spec brakes

    Standard brakes are terrible ain't they lol, VXR brakes all the way

    they are off
    the copper slip worked fine apart from a bit of rain they are off and ready to rock
    just got to paint one last part as i missed it out last year

    I personally would go up as far as 314's on my car were I to upgrade as I am sticking with my facelift 17" SRi wheels and the 345's are just way too close for comfort, plus to stop from the speeds I genuinely now drive standard are perfectly fine

    best thing about the 314mm's if you can run a small set of 16's as winter rims for the snow
    it was a must for the estate as it was being used for german trips
    they looked nice under the late spec rims
