    Default 2.2Dti Fuel Pump issue's?

Are there any problems with the 2.2 Signum / Vectra C diesel fuel pumps?

An 'expert' has informed me that they are renouned to fail. Is this true? Is there a 'fix' if so?

    Presume its the PSG16 pump?

Do these have a lifter pump in tank?

The VP44 PSG16 pump (one fitted to the Vec C) has been rumoured to fail quite a lot yes. Actual failures do seem pretty rare though. It seems to be only one of a small number of things killing them though. Either dry solder joints on the ECU, the sensor inside the pump giving up and no longer reading correctly or the pump suffering from a lack of lubrication. A lot of people on here have now started to put in 300ml or so of 2 stroke with every tank of diesel to get around this.

They don't have a lifter above the tank, like the 1.9CDTi's do.

My 2.2 DTi has done 100k miles now with no issues. Add 200ml of 2-stroke oil every two fillups to keep the pump lubed and quiet
