    Default Cambelt - 3.0V6 CDTI

    Could anyone advise what the interval for changing the above is please.

    10 years or 100K miles
    Note that the auxiliary belt is slightly earlier at 80K miles

    The 100k/10 year service is cambelt, aux. belt, and tappet/valve clearance checks, and all other service items i.e filters and oils......

    as stated above but i did mine at 92000

    not difficult to do

    It's funny how the british service manual says 100k (160,000km) yet the german one is 150,000km

    Thanks Guys, am way off needing this then car is 7 years old and 65k

    i know your only on 65k but to be honest id get it done for piece of mind

    probably a good plan, will look into it, just need to find soemwhere reasonable in nottinghamshire / derbyshire.

    Given how bomb proof this engine is, I would go to the just under the limit either 9 years or 90K miles
    I've examined the rollers and tensioner and they seem far more durable than the rollers on other engines (especially VX built) I have seen

    My own was removed at 4 years, 87K miles and was in remarkbly good condition (to others I have seen)

    I would be more concerned if the car was older than 10 years / 100K miles and it was not known if the cambelt had been changed or worse confirmed it had not
