    Default LED number plate light fault

    fitted my new LED'S tonight and they look really good,only prob is when i turn the number plate lights off,the led,s flash for 11 seconds then stop.Any idea?

    Yes strobing you get it with all leds on vectra I'm affraid I ended up taking all ming out

    Why should they?

    Surely you can't expect them to list every single car they are or aren't compatible with?

    Have you checked his link they clearly state they are suitable and will not cause errors on vectra c so get his point completely

    They dont cause errors as in they dont put on the bulb warning light.

    Technically that is correct, they're not putting on the bulb warning light like most other LEDs do so not causing an error. The pulse isn't an error, it's just one of those things.

    It's actually the bulb check system causing the problem, although I don't know why it does it with the number plate lights as they're not part of the bulb failure warning circuit.

    Because its canbus (Nothing to do with bulb check)

    Its checking to see if that bulb has continuity and if it doesn't (Bulb blown) it turns that circuit off.

    It sends a short burst of power to the circuit that doesnt illuminate the bulb as its too quick to see. The leds are a lot quicker to react and thats why you see them pulse.

    All the bulbs do it for some reason my interior bulbs done it aswell which was strange lol
