    Default Rear brakes bedding in?

Just wondering how long it should take for the rear brakes to bed in.
I changed all the brake discs and pads on my SRi on Saturday, noticed the handbrake isn't as effective as it was.

Just taking it needs abit of time and usage? Iv pumped the handbrake to make sure the piston is wound out properly - also pressure bled all the brakes.

I used Mintex pads & discs all round, - the rears had the wrong discs fitted, and nasty cheap pads!

A couple of days normally sorts out the handbrake.

    Default

I've never had any problems with OE brakes, handbrake works from fitting
Usual advice is to allow up to 100 miles for new pads and 500 miles for new discs

This is fine if you are driving around town, but I know some people that can go 100 miles and not even had to touch the brakes!
Last time I got round this by following a few HGVs on the Motorway, and then driving through Service Areas, some nice light braking required
