iphone 4 or htc desire (normal version, not hd etc..)

I have both of these as i bought an iphone4 to sell originally but now thinking of keeping the iphone and getting rid of the htc what was my phone originally. so just after folks opinions which wud you prefer??

I went through this a few months ago, android and HTC desire won. the iphone wins on the number of apps available but the Android OS offers a more versatile and futureproof solution imho.

Desire hd for me mate, never had a 4 but had the other and prefer HTC

Although I have a Desire I would keep the 4. The iPhone value will stay high and the Desire is at the end of it's software update cycle, they are struggling to get gingerbread on to it now due to the lack of space. Android is a far better OS and I love my widgets,notifications and the way text reflows on websites with android, iPhone can't touch it for that.
