    1..Is this a good idea i mean power/fuel...

    2. any errors on the dash ?

    3..why do they put them on..

    3. Have a quick search on this very question, there are numerious threads on this very thing (they are for the 150, buts its the same principal). I'm not being 'arsey' telling you to search, when you see the threads you'll know why.

    Np mate.. I ant goin to do it noticed it can put the turbo at risk...I already renewed the turbo at 700quid...

    Yes he will.

    Assuming the thread doesn't get trolled, then the amount of hot air saved will offset most of our car's emissions for quite some time

    Slightly more on topic, if you do blank the EGR, you can get it mapped out of the ECU to get rid of the error message / light.

    I got a new Egr in March but if it fails again I'm blanking it

    The 120's seem to get fewer problems than the 150's, presumably as they don't have swirl flaps in the manifold.

    Unless it is causing you problems or you are having a remap anyhow, I would leave it.

    Blanked mine off matey much smoother better miles as well
