    Default leaking windscreen.

    hi all !
i have recently developed a leaking windscreen and i dont just mean the odd drop of water when it rains,
i washed the car this morning and as i rinsed off the roof i could see water dripping from the rear view mirror and around the interior light housing and through the alarm sensors ! so my question is has anyone else had this happen and does it mean i need a new windscreen ?
it doesnt have a sunroof so thats ruled out a leaky seal..
am i right in thinking there is a tube of seek and seal that might fix it ?
i look forward to any answers....

You'd be very lucky to get it with a reseal.
Best course of action is to remove the screen and then refit with a sound bondline.
Get a few quotes , and if your not far away from bolton/manchester I would be willing to do it at forum rates , but whichever way you went you run the risk of the screen cracking on removal , it would need replacing if this did happen.

TimTay's failed too but in the bottom corner, not sure if he replaced or just resealed.

About £100 for a new one - remove and refit £50 (if it does not crack happy days )
As I said try it yourself , but I can't honestly see you getting a good result , even windscreen fitter's struggle to reseal alot of the time .
