    Thumbs up SRI Facelift options

Well got back a few hours ago from the black country, where some of you will know i was collecting my new sri front end.........bumper - complete with grills and fogs , bonnet , wings, headlights.........and the old dear even threw in the crash bar(altho I dont think I will need it - hopefully some one will confirm!)

so the question is...............do I colour code the v or leave standard.....also do I put on a bumper apron?........what are my options,

thanks again for all help supplied

I thought the crash bar is the piece of metal that ties the chassis legs together that sits in front of the AC radiator.

It's the bonnet landing panel (also called slam panel)that needs holes drilling into it if you're going to use the orginal one and want to have the access holes to be able to adjust the headlights.

OP, have you looked at the HOW2?

Crash bar doesn't need to be changed but you'll need to the 5 rivets that hold the plastic bumper guide on.

If your keeping your original slam panel you'll need to make two holes for the rear headlamp mounts. Headlight adjustment can be done without the holes in the slam panel

I had the c/c grille for a bit but gave in and fitted the irmy alu top one. Thats just me though, I hoard irmy stuff

If you can stretch to a genuine xp splitter that would be best. The fibreglass ones don't fit worth a damn
