    Default pre snowfoam help

Had to take the car to the car wash for a quick wash and before they snowfoamed the car they used a pink pre wash thing on all the sticky bits- flys, bird poo etc. Just wondering what this stuff is and if its easy to get hold of?

Probably a highly contcentrated TFR traffic film remover, just makes it easier for them to clean while there covering your car is scratches and swirl marks with there dirty sponge or wash mitt

The TFR(snowfoam) those car washes use is high alkaline and strips all the polish and wax from your motor, thats the reason they don't need to touch it with anything, Its designed for use on Lorries, buses and trains and tbh should be left to lorries, buses and trains. As GSi says its just a prewash to help soften the crud up.
