    rolleyes AA Chancers!!!

    Well got my AA Breakdown renewal through today, cost? £190.50 LoL, wtf?? I have paid £50 for Roadside and so called Complimentary Home Start for years now. I did take a special offer of an AA warranty(£15) back in May, but when the booklet came through one of the stipulations is that your car has to be serviced by a "Suitable garage business" so that was cancelled as I service my own car, and well inside any VX Service schedule.

    Anyway my renewal reads;
    Roadside; £58.50
    Home Start; Complimentary
    Relay; £56.50 (never asked for this, they have added this themselves)
    Breakdown Repair Cover; £75.50 (this was £15 in May and cancelled in May)
    Total £190.50!!!!

    So a quick look on the AA website shows Roadside is only £28 a year!!!! So much for complimentary Home start. Gave them a phone and told them to cancel my policy, and as usual got transferred to someone to try to prevent me doing this. When I explained why I was cancelling he tried to get me to keep some stuff, even though he even noticed Id only use them once in 12 years, lol. Anyway upshot is im only paying £28 a year now so happy days, bloomin chancers!!!!!

    We're currently with RAC, but insurance renewal got us a years free AA cover. As they limit the call outs you can have a year, decided why not, if needed I can use AA first, then RAC if I have another.
