After a bit of advice hopefully, from some of you who have done this
I am in the process of buying all the bits to get this installed on my car.
As I had the bumper off this week, to check if I had the extra washer pump connector (which I do, result), I thought I would have a look and see if the outline of the washer jet location was on the back of the bumper (which it was)
How did you guys go about cutting the material away??
I was thinking of spot drilling around the rounded edges from back side through to the front, then poss. grind the rest away with some sort of dremel disk cutter bit and rotary burr bit (below)
Just though I’d ask if there was a simpler way of doing it or more importantly a safer way of doing it???
Having not seen the parts yet (still awaiting post to arrive from Autovax, been waiting 2 weeks now) do the washer jet holders have a lip on them (to take up any wavy cutting of the bumper underneath)???
Sorry for the long post but any help/advice would be gratefully appreciated
