    Default They said it couldn't be done...

    Fitting an accessory socket to my 1.9cdti. That was the main dealer in Ayr.
    A wee auto spark in Ayr done it for me yesterday for £48. Brilliant job to.
    Now I have my satnav back....sorted. Vauxhall...eat your heart out.

    That is correct, this work would be sub-contracted
    So rather than charge you they simply decline such work

    However, the work can be carried out on new or specification cars
    The downside is you pay a premium over the sub-contractors rate

    They could have explained that tho, and I would have happily taken their advice re sub etc..
