OMG, that almost brought a tear to my eye. THose poor cars and that silly witch. Bet her hubby gives her a banger next.
I would love to see her insurance company's response to THAT claim!!
my mates dad used to have a lambourghini diablo in yellow
driving down the main road in dunstable a taxi pulled out into the side of him
it damaged
front bumper
front wheel
front wing
door
rear quater
rear bumper
the car was only 4 months old
the quote to repair came in at £98,000 , wouldnt be surprised if that bloke no longer drives a taxi !!!
Think I had a Sierra when I took my ex and our newborn, strapped in inside his carry cot to London to see both grandparents. Came round Elephant and Castle roundabouts and a taxi driver on inside decided to force his way out to clear a parked car. Pushed me into keep left bollard, blew two wheels and tyres.
My ex went off on foot in hysterics, taxi driver refused to give me his details, but demanded mine as "it was my fault".
I walked round the back of taxi and took his licence and number down, then as he wouldn't let me see to my wife or son, gave him my number, rank, name and base address in a 20 second burst. He wasn't happy so I told him to call a policeman (no mobiles then). He drove off. A friend found me some wheels and tyres to get home on, steering etc seemed ok.
Pursued it through insurance, they gave up trying to get hold of him and his boss and firm covered for him and said they had no home address or name.
As it happened, some of my old biker mates spotted him and the cab parked up the top end of Streatham, near the common.
I understand he had a lot of trouble with his paintwork for several months after, some bikers kept riding past hosing it down with brake fluid...... .
How embarrassing, and all those people taking pictures as well. If I was the owner of the 430 I would be fuming (damaged/repaired lol )
