Been on here for nearly a year now and am not aware of anyone else from God's county

Dont live up there but i do a lot of work up your way had 3 very nice weeks working on the settle to Carlisle railway a couple of months ago and should be back round christmas time !!!!!

I'm in Carlisle for past 12 years- had a purple Vec Sri B V6 then a white sri130 diesel faceliftB
Now got a black sri C with 19" snowflakes that is in LLoyds bodyshop cos a w@nker in a van crashed into me

And voxpop is in South Cumbria (who was concidentally my next door neighbour 30 years ago)

Any cumbrians know why Dobies are advertising themselves as " the only official Vx dealer in Cumbria"?

Bet Hragreaves in Kendal ( Vx dealers for 40 years ) are a bit dis-chuffed

and dsg in barrow in furness mike! dobies are dear compared to others for new/used cars and spares.....wudnt buy a mudflap off 'em mesell

Peter I would let DSG know what has been said- it's abit naughty what Dobies are claiming.

I had a big fallout with them so I'm biased, but still....

Hargreaves are top blokes but I bought my last car from Lloyds of Carlisle as I wanted a black Sri with big ****-off wheels and they had one,

Just concerned that Dobies are trying to railroad other dealers out of the county- they're in Carlisle, Penrith, Workington

Not good for the customer when there's a virtual monopoly

where did the advert appear mike? seen 1 that says west cumbrias only vauxhall dealer....which they are and also seen 1 that says cumbrias largest vauxhall dealer which they could be...i dunno. will find out though and mention it to dsg when next down there
