Default Facelift headlight washer covers - fitting help please

Well thanks to glenboy, I've got a pair of headlight washer covers. I want to fit them purely for cosmetic reasons. Now I know when I removed the front bumper I've seen the shape of the headlight washer covers on the rear of the bumper where they're meant to be located. If I cut these out will the covers fit in the hole okay....don't want to go chopping up my bumper without checking first. Thanks in advance!!

No they attach to the spray heads IIRC, so theres nothing to attach them to if you don't have the washers actually installed. I remember kiethy attached them to his bumper using tigerseal

That's what I thought, I just want to make sure I can cut the holes marked on the back of the bumper and that they won't be too big, I will then use adhesive to stick them in place.......just like the look of them you see

Have a look on ebay, I only paid £25 for the washer bottle, pumps, level sensor, pipes and facelift headlight washers(john.robertson2 bought them off me) and im sure someone in your area will have opcom to activate them mate. Mine started off as a cosmetic job too but I just carried on to a full working set up.

Can you remember what parts there were for fitting it? Did john manage to fit it to his facelifted veccy?

Thats what I got, everything needed as long as you already have the plug in place. Bottle, 2 pumps, level sensor, 2 washers, piping with all relivant clips and connectors.

Yeah I have them on mine now, they are just cosmetic at the moment though as I haven't figured out how to get them working on a facelifted pre face car.

Iirc the jets themselves are about 20 quid each from vx (i broke one and had to buy another) and the bottle is only 25 odd. Then all you need is the facelift pipe kit (about 15 quid) and the pump, then of course tech 2

If a job's worth doin, it's worth doing propertly

So I take it there is a seperate pump for the headlight washers then. And this is the one you need the extra plug for, and if the plug is there (which it more than likely isn't on mine) then it'll need activating via tech 2.....

You reckon the 2nd pump could be wired to the existing one if the plug isn't there and get it's power from that?
