hearing aid? anyone help?

Hi all i was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction or who has delt with hearing aid companys the score is im only 26 and for the past year my hearing is become worse even more so the last 6 months its now rather embarrasing at work strugaling to here people ect i find my self trying to avoid people simply so i dont get into a conversation with them

I came across a add in the local paper called hidden hearing claim you free hearing aid ect ect so i have rang up and they have assured me i will get it in the post ( i will try anything ) just was wondering can anyone recommend me any places i live in northumberland

Honestly wouldn't bother with hidden hearing, once they have your info they will end up telling you that you need a different kind of hearing aid and its gonna cost you, Goto your local NHS hospital and ask them to do a hearing test and they will prescribe you a hearing aid if you need one, other than that its gonna cost you around a grand..

I think my dads last hearing was about 970 to 980, it's a digital thing, an all singing and all dancing one that can almost pick up sky there were dearer ones aswell

I take it you been to the doc just incase you need syringed/cleaned ? I get this once a year as I wear earplugs on the bike and it pushes wax aginst the drum , 2 min rinse from the nurse an I can hear a pin drop miles away
