    Default Which 2.8 V6 Turbo remap?

    Hi Folks;

    I'm wondering which is the best value for money remap out there and from who and a price I'd expect to pay?

    I have had a superchips remap on a BMW diesel in the past and it was rather lame and disappointing and I've had a VAGCHECK (I know ...sounds like a gynaecologist ) on my Audi TT Roadster (270bhp) and that was great but sadly, they only do VAG cars.

    Are there any small GM specialist out there like VAGCHECK, preferably in the south east?

    Cheers

    Bluefin ... for me the best option as it can be added or removed at whim

    you can use the handheld unit to read faults ... and immobilise your vehicle ... and run live telemetry ....

    and it puts a large smile on your face when installed

    beetter deals can be had at the shows rather than from suppliers afterwards.... iirc mine was about 400 last year

    0-Large smile ......every time it's driven

    Choice of 2 handhelds bluefin and the eds ipf. 4 big tuners who can be trusted are thorney, regal, courtney and mpg. Don't take it to or let any of the generic untested map suppliers touch it you have to much to loose.

    Bluefin for me too. I've gained over 60 bhp and a large smile with mine. There is a chap selling a bluefin in the for sale section. £300 bargain if you ask me!

    I don't think Bluefin make their units transferable between cars - if they did, then I'd have gathered 10 Z20NET owners together on here, got them all to chip in £40 and we'd buy one unit and map all our cars. And then sell it on ebay afterwards.

    As per BBGSI's comments the units can be factory reset so they can be sold on. One of the bonuses over BSR etc. Obviously you have return your car to standard map before this can be done. And as far as I know they dont do a bluefin unit for the Z20 NET Jezzy. They do a mp for them but it is not offered on the bluefin system. HTH

    Bluefins can be reset for £200 that allows them to be used by a new owner. They are paired to the car.

    Courtenay offer without doubt the best re-map, but the Bluefin is excellent and offers the option of putting back to standard.
