As above going to fit mine next week
Seen a few posts were it says go into limp and u can lose power? Surely not with a decent quality dump valve like a Bailey etc

If you're going to disable or bypass the factory-fit one, then yes, the car will be slower. The standard one allows the turbo to keep spinning even when you take your foot off the accelerator, thereby reducing spool-up time and lag. An after market dump valve won't achieve that.
My car had an aftermarket dump valve fitted when i bought it..soon as i bought the car i got a BSR stage 1 remap..
How can i check if the valves affecting performance
unless you change gear reeeeaaaallly slowly a i think the power loss will be so small you wont notice , you will however feel the woosh of the boost kicking in a bit more than before
The turbo spins at well over 100,000 RPM on full boost - the speed of your gear change isn't going to diminish turbo lag caused by the turbo having to regain that momentum.
Is that one of the reasons why the revs dont drop too quick either in between gear change?
Can't see any power loss if it's holding boost with a dump valve
