    Thumbs down blooming car ins

renemwal time again, added problem now we need to insure 2 cars as i hand my works truck in at the end of this week.

my misses has been on my ins for the last 7 yrs premiums are not looking good.

getting quotes on the veccy for me and an astra sri for her but it aint cheap for her, might have to lower me standards for a second car and buy and sxi or even a club

still for me best price for the 1.8 sri 280 quid

same car for her 500 quid

the astra 1.8 sri for me 240 quid

same car for her 440 quid

the astra 1.6 sxi for me 180 quid

same car for her 400 quid

Do a multi car policy with them in your name but with your wife as a named driver.

I just tried Direct Line as I've never quoted from them before:

Paying now AFTER the 40% hike £370 - they want £1300!!!!!

Partner pays £450 for both us to drive her Avensis. IMO should be nearer £300, we're both 40 so no excuse really. Hers just renewed at the same price so hoping mine has gone down a bit from £370
