Where'd you get the kit m8, and which clip you talking about? is it the one that holds the bulb in?

When I fitted mine I used the clips with the kit as they had a slot cut out, but you may be talking about a different bit. If possible a pic would help.

Only pre-face require the separate clips to hold in the HID bulbs.

Facelift should just push in and lock into position. Sounds like you need to take the headlights out and take a proper look. While you're at it, you could mount the ballasts in the dedicated slot under the headlight assembly.

Slot the bulb in and clip it with the original clip that's on the headlights

Mine are plastic base, and they went in without problems. Fitted nearly 2 years ago and not moved at all.

Have you taken the headlights out yet to have a closer look in case you damaged the locating clips while attempting an earlier fit?

Hi m8, went out to sort my lights and took a picture for you to compair. You can see the two clip parts at the top and bottom, these are wahat hold the bulb in place. It may be that these have flattened out on yours which would explain why the bulbs pop out.

I'd suggest lowering the bumper and taking the headlights out, only a ten minute job to be honest, then you'll be able to see what's what.

    Hope this helps.
