Default Facelift eyebrows : Learning to prep and paint (Slowly)

I primer'd, painted and laquered my eyebrows but the finish was terrible.

I read here recently about wet and dry sanding cars to bring them back to life, so I thought well it can't hurt to give it a try.

Im learning how to prep, paint and finish at an alarming and expensive rate but once I have cracked it, then I will be happy. It's a hobby which has turned into an addiction

Here is the first pic of my first efforts, granted the orange peel has made a big appearance. Once I painted them I got fed up with the finish and they ended up rolling around in the boot for a few weeks, hence the scratches.

Time to wet and dry them with 2000 grit

First run with Wet and dry. I was not happy with the lines I left on it so I started to use Halfrauds cutting paste with some water.

Now its starting to smooth out much nicer.

This is after sanding and using the cutting paste, together with AG Paint Renovator (wonderfull stuff) then AG SRP then finaly AG UDS (Ultra deep shine)

Slightly cloudy but its getting there and much smoother now.

Started and finished the second one. Gave both a few more goes with AG PR, AG SRP then AG UDS.

As I say im learning all the time and making huge mistakes along the way.

This for me is no easy task but I think im improving, albeit slowly.

Oh and a couple of Peroni's keeps me happy

    Thanks Ben.

Its certainly a big learning curve but it seems the more I experiment the better the results.

Oh and yes the peroni's do help pass the time sanding and rubbing
