    Default Aux Belt Tensioner Help !!

    I left my aux belt tensioner on its side for too long and all the oil has escaped.It's as limp as a wet lettuce now. Anybody know how to re prime it ?

    Short answer to this one,they can't be primed...

    After a bit of research i found the following....


    "tightening torque (m8 bolt) 20 Nm (m10 bolt 42 Nm) if damper has been stored laid down it can leak internally repeated compressions in installed position will bleed damper"

    I'll give this a go tomorrow...
