Have you done the cold reset?

Disconnect the battery for about 1/2 hour..
Then reconnect and see if this has cured your problem.

Otherwise it is a facia plate off, to check the contact buttons behind it...

but I am confident that the buttons being simple items will not be at fault.

    Hi Guys,

Have the same problem with my 07 SRi nav!! Traffic and settings buttons don't work! Very annoying when the traffic reports keep going off and you cant stop them!

If the cutting battery power for a few hours does not work, then the only thing I can suggest, is to remove the front facia from the head-unit... you will see that it is connected electronically via a black push fit connector... see if the connectors and pins are clean and dry.

To get the facia off, you will need to undo all the torx screws from the side latch plates.

Then it should be a matter of unclipping a few black plastic hook type latches..

The facia will now simply pull off from the front of the head unit.
