Default No hot air blowing from vents

Driving back from work this morning, the heaters never worked. Engine temp was all as usual. Fans settings 1-4 still worked fine, just cold air pumping out

    Any idea's anyone?

Blocked heater matrix? Heat control dial not actually working?

I had an old Mondeo with a blocked matrix and in the middle of winter it didn't matter where the dial was pointing - it was COLD!!

Can you hear the motor when you turn the temp dial?
If you take the glove box out, to the right behind the stereo you'll see the blower / air distribution unit. You should then be able to see a red (i think) arm that moves the hot/cold flap. Move the temp dial to see if there is any movement.
