    Default coolant question

so as previously posted i done the missus water pump, cambelt etc today on her focus, when i was topping up her coolant i noticed that it said to mix with water 50/50 ratio.
i done my cambelt etc a few months back and brought the red coolant from vx but i havent added any water as i didnt realise you had to, do you think i should drain some coolant out and add water woiuld this have harmed the engine etc

Some are ready mixed and it will tell you on the bottle. It wont harm in the short term but if it was me i would take some out and replace with water.

The vx stuff should also be 50/50 for protection down to around -30¤c. Not too sure if undiluted can cause damage, maybe a bit too thick, damage to seals/gaskets possibly maybe. I'd drain a litre or so and refill with water, you can mix what you drain with water and keep for topping up if needed.

VX coolant (white bottle) is good for -40°C and colder, I'd drain a bit and refill with water.
