Default Bad day servicing the car...

Well, drained the oil , unscrewed the oil filter canister, and threw away the old filter, opened box to put new filter in, and....wring flippin filter, so had to scrounge through bin for old filter!
Worse to come, the new sump plug that I was sent looks like it was manufactured by a 2 year old, the recess for the torx head was not fully finished, and theres a chunl of metal out of it, so had tto take the rubber seal out of the old sump plug and re-use that.
Then it wont let me tighten it up tight, so now I have an old oil filter with a sump plug that wont tighten fully......grrrrrr
On the plus side I did manage to drop the bumper to put my ballast under the headlight, but still annoyed......have taken the var for a run and there doesnt seem to be any leak ....yet......going to get a new filter and sump plug and see if the new sump plug makes any difference......
