Perth, German Car Day

That time again lads.

OpelAus boys headed East to Northam for the annual German Car Day. Plenty of excellent looking cars there. Heres a select few.

I'll update this thread later as the lads upload more photos.

Nice collection of pics Cris. So, how popular are Astras, Calibras etc.. in Australia?

Astra's are VERY popular in Australia. In 2006 it was the best selling car for Holden, 2 years later hey stopped selling them....

Most are the 1.8 or 1.9 Diesel 5 doors. The turbo's are very rare.
Calibras are ridiculously rare in Australia. I think at last count there were roughly 50 still running (Although they weren't very reliable to begin with

)
The Cali in the pictures is perhaps one of the best looked after. Recently recorded 270HP at the wheels.

So looks like in comparison to Astra, just Your Veccy is rare and unique. Calibra looks decently indeed. In Europe they were very popular. I think even more than Astras Coupe Bertone which were meant to be the succesor.
