    Default CDTi Owners

Got CDTI 150 engine and done all the cleaning of throttle body, EGR, boost sensor etc....Sprayed EGR 3 cleaner into the inlet also etc, etc.

Now everything is running smoothly, good MPG figures but still I feel it's just sluggish below 1500rpm.
So today I've taken a look at the the vac pipes and all hoses, everything looks airtight and ok.
Now I've also checked the swirl flap bar and that's even intact (still attached) and working ok. But.....I squirted some EGR cleaner down onto it and got some bubbling from the far right one. Now it's obviously leaking there, so would that cause it to be sluggish, and can I fix the leak on it?

Also I want get at the swirl bar to clean things up down there it's looking a bit messy in there. So looking at the picture I've marked with a red arrow what is the fuel rail, yes. So if I remove this to gain better access to the swirl bar will I be ok to do this then replace it ok. In other words will I have problems then getting fuel back into it again to get started. I've read they are pigs to get the fuel going again.

    Cheers for any replies.

Unfortunatly mate - its often a new EGR thats needed and not just a clean.

I also notice that you havent had the third injector mod done - may not help being sluggish, but will rule out any lumpy running etc.
