Soooooo, what's with this, then?

Is this the Z30DT engine 'breathed on'?

If so, I wonder what they did to overcome the issues that were being had when people mapped / chipped the standard Z30 and Y30 (like breaking fuel pumps)... Or is it a different engine? Can we go shopping at Renault for better bits for our V6 diesels?

I think it is a massively re-worked version of the original Z30/Y30 from what I can see of it. it might even be a 100% new derivative, it is hard to tell as there are so few technical schematics and manuals around online.

But I don't want a dead fuel pump and a gearbox full of metal filings. Or to buy a Reno... Booo!

id rather have a fast diesel that does 50+mpg than a bit faster petrol that drops to 16 mpg.....

Makes my 3 1/2 tonner look economical - 25mpg fully loaded.

Reckon I could chip it though.....!!!!!!!
