Default local shop want 220 to make me a maching backbox and drill into exsisting!?

I want to go dual exit, so thought a cheaper option would be to keep my already there sri backbox and just get another matching one for opposite and just a y piece into centre section. The local performance exhaust place said they was no need to make a y piece as they can simply connect the new backbox to the pipework already there by creating a hole and welding and connecting the new backbox this way... yea ok, but they still want 220!! It seems very steep just for a backbox and one short pipe welding onto the exsisting exhaust!! Any opinions?? Thanks
