    Default Asda oil 5 L 5/30 semi synth £10

    Might be usefull as a flushing oil for someone.

    To behonest I would not even flush with that
    Vectra vxr custome remaps egr deletes dpf and diagnostic work all remaps are custome bench tuning avalible all genuine equipment PM for info

    Can of worms on that one
    If under warranty then any GM-LL specification oil
    Out of warranty then either GM-LL or 10W40, depending on oil change interval to be used, but preferably fully synthetic
    5W30 semi synthetic will also be fine, so long as it is to the required API grade

    for flushing its ok just dont rev engine drop old oil fill up asda stuff idle for 10 min drop and put some millers 5w30 full synt.

    Dont all shout at once...but if the oil,whatever name is on the side/bottle, has all the neccesary specs etc isnt it ok to use??

    No harm in an old banger you don't give a jot about.

    I would stick to recommended oils, well known brands if you want to look after your engine in your precious motor. After all it's the heart of the car for the sake of saving a few quid.

    I saw this deal today, but was very wary as to wether it was any good or not.......seems too cheap to me so am sticking to branded oil.
