heaps and heaps of threads about them mate, IMO waste of money but others like them. mine exploded within a few weeks.
its a hit or a miss mate lots have had problems but some are good
good while they lasted, about two months!
dont they come with a warrenty anyway?im looking at getting a set,but duno where from,i mailed a company on ebay but they never replied,so that put me off them.
they do come with a 12month warrenty from venom motorsports on ebay. but both richard from venom was a hit and a miss to weather he was in a good mood or not as i found out.
when i phoned about if they were suitable for my car richard said to me "did you not read the listing it says all vectra c's" my reply was just checking to make sure as i have heard a few folk with issues with them. his reply tome was "did you not read the listing it says all vectra c's"
still bought them anyway. then with in a few weeks knocks bangs and exploded shocks, compressed springs and nakered rear dampers.
so dreaded phoneing him up but wasin for a shock! got a big sorry for all the hassle and they were prepared to send replacements or full refund! no questions asked. so sent them back at there cost as he said it would be very expensive for me to send so he footed the bill.
Up to you's if you want to chance them but better with shocks and springs. mine sits just about as low as it did on the coilovers. now on 45mm lo springs with no hassle at all
Decent springs and shocks are far better. The threads on cheap coilovers will end up seizing anyway leaving you with a fixed ride height
What will ride be like on normal shocks and 40 springs or is it best to change both
normal struts and lowering springs are 1000 times better than them pieces of scrap metal. can u guess i dont like them lol
grab ya sel a set of eibachs to impove the the look and handling or either PI 40mm or LO 45mm for that extra drop for better stance on the road.
I've had mine on for 12months and had no issues.. no knocks or twangs.. though will say they're great on motorway etc..but if you do any driving in the countryside (a lil bumpy and twisty) they're way too harsh and tend to make your car a bit skippy around the bends. I will be changing them at some point due to this.
